This week, the Apple rumors, speculation, and fandom was too much even for this Mac fanboy. Zill3r’s breath of fury was my own release. FWOOO!

What might have biased me against the iPad in particular was Apple’s tagline claiming it to be “a magical and revolutionary product.” I’m sorry, but unless you are selling Che unicorn, it’s just saccharine marketing fluff.

I thought I’d preempt the release of Street Fighter IV for the iPhone just because I couldn’t wait to use “shoryuken” in the strip. If you are my age and you’ve played the old-school version of the game, you might remember the reference in the last panel. That phrase is what comes up after Ryu defeats an opponent. Translated, “Sheng Long” is “Rising Dragon Punch” otherwise known as the “shoryuken” move.

If I can save one life by sharing this useless information, it will all be worth it.
